Who else watched the first episode of SBR?
I was a bit bummed out with the way it looked when the teasers first dropped, but honestly it's not even that bad. I'm even warming up to the new seiyuus. Plus SBR itself is just so hype I'm willing to overlook a few obvious cgi scenes here and there, but rest assured not a cent of my money is going into Netflix's pockets kek

I didn't, since I was under the mistaken impression it was going to air tomorrow. Time to rectify that! Good to hear the seiyuus are ok, ngl was bitter about the recast so it's the thing I am/was most worried about

I'm a huge fan of Kristoph/Apollo because age gaps and boss/employee dynamics are really hot to me, but it's a shame there's not much with the pairing. Most of the art I could find are from scrubbed/dead Japanese fansites from the late 2000s. LiveJournal used to have some doujins, too, but they're ancient megaupload links so they've been long dead.

Millennial Tree will forever be my favorite. His design (nature and femboy looks), his canon deep voice, and how he's often forgotten by devsisters…kinda makes him more mysterious and cool for me lol. Still hurtst tho…he's like, jesus cookie. C'mon man. Also i have a soft spot for Yogurt Cream since I started playing the game when he was first released. For Kingdom, I love Eclair. Dark Choco was my first love, and Churro cookie is soooooooo underrated it hurts. He's so cute bros

I was never able to get into the Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons games despite loving Rune Factory. With that being said, I did read your post, and I can see how that would be frustrating. It seems like a lot of games have stagnated lately with remakes instead of creating a new experience. I'm sorry the series has turned into that. I remember people being very positive about Story of Seasons years ago, but I guess it didn't keep that momentum.

I don't think it's the best sign cause I remember Alphadream pumped out two remakes before going bankrupt.

Trio of towns was an amazing game and I was so excited for the next game. But then it was the friends of mineral town remake where they made everyone kinda ugly and removed rival marriages. And then pioneers of olive town was garbage because they obviously just wanted to cash in on a Stardew clone instead of doing their own thing. And the last two games were a remake of a wonderful life which was okayish. It wasn’t terrible but having played the original after playing the remake, I enjoyed the original more because it was more charming. And then the grand bazaar remake that just came out is another remake and for some god awful reason they changed Daisy’s original cute design to an uggo one. Which just reminds me how much I hate the new artstyle of the games. In terms of gameplay, I always feel like I’m doing too much in a day and not enough at the same time. Like they added too much stuff without accounting for time management. I was just uninterested in the game and stopped playing it. I ended up going back to the original and beat it again.

Yeah I’m one of the few that are generally positive about them because I’ve played them all and have seen consistent improvement in each installment whilst still enjoying it because it’s a simple farm game I don’t have to think too much about.

God their story is depressing. Especially after people found out they were trying to hire a planner to help manage stuff right before they shut down. I really hope that doesn’t happen to Marvelous, but I wouldn’t be surprised if something similar happens or at least shutting down the bokujomonogatari developers.

I know it's not the same but watch other for his pl account Xanadu and of course, there's the youtube archive ragtag, some videos work still.

Just think this is all thanks to a certain someone who couldn't be more mature and responsible lol. I'll never forgive her for what she did to everyone. The holo livers are so lucky they have considerate co-workers and a toxic fanbase who won't let you say anything bad about them
