Even though I lean towards him having more serious attitude that doesn't mean that I don't like him being upbeat and sunny. Like you said, everything needs balance.

I was replaying the Zero games, finally beat them all and, oh dear, they're full with homo-tension. Especially Harpuia and Fighting Fefnir. So far my favourites are Zero 2 and 3, and not to mention that even the stage's bosses are shippable and pretty fun (mainly the beetle brothers Kuwagust and Herculious - they're so cute when they die by bumping into one another, and the Eight Gentle Judges have pretty cool designs and nobody can tell me they don't fuck each other). I wanted to post some images of some pretty homo texts and other things, but honestly I prefer to wait.
Nonas, no matter if you have played the games (Classic, X, Zero, BN, SF, it doesn't matter) or not, do you have rarepairs? I'll be very curious to hear them!

I am also new to Mega Man. I just looked up some NES music and stumbled upon it. I really want to get into the series though! I've been watching this YouTube channel 'Fueled by Sandwiches' and they make fun quiz videos about childhood media including Mega Man. Their video on animal/plant robot masters was my first! I really liked learning about all the robots and their silly trivia. The designs are very charming and the personalities crack me up like the guy that hates being bald lol.
I also already have a favorite and it's Snake Man!! The moment he showed up in the quiz I fell in love by just how cute he is!! I really like snakes and he has the same cuteness as those silly cute ones! I felt very proud that I got all his questions right lol. Though at first I thought he had an arm as a leg and a leg as an arm for some reason… And when the guy mentioned that 'Snake Man really really really likes Toad Man' my fujo senses went CRAZY. I had to look it up, knowing the internet surely wouldn't disappoint me. I love the art of these two and I need more of it lmao. I have never made a folder to save art besides for my OTP so it's saying a lot. They are so cute together…
When I finish the game I'm currently playing I'll try out the first games!! I've seen that he's in the third game so it shouldn't take long to get there I think… I'm kind of curious if there's any recommended order for them? There seems to be a lot of different games and other stuff so I'm not sure what I should do after playing the NES games? Do any of the games also happen to have some fujobait?

because I'm sensitive to flashing lights sadly… But I do remember some djs involving blast man and torch man but that's in mm11. But Elec man/Fire man and Quick man/Metal man also have djs and alot of content on pixiv as well and they're in mm2!
Honestly I think the X games and a bit of the Zero games have something in them. X/Zero is quite popular and might be the most popular ship in the franchise.
As for order of the games, I would say play the all in order if you want! I'm not too sure on the classic games… I heard 1, 3, maybe 8, and 9 is a bit difficult. But for X, I think X1, X4 to X5 then to Zero to ZX games is a good order for the story. X6 is hard and unfair sometimes but I'm not sure if X6 cuts off to Zero it's a bit confusing for me here. X7 was… painful to me and you can skip it. Which is a shame because I love Axl but its not worth it. I hate how X is portrayed in that game. X8 is great though. And to be honest, your art reminds me of Megaman Battle Network navis! I would love to recommend it to you even though it's another timeline and has a different style from the main games.

It's also finally winter break, I'm excited to play it for the first time! I think I'll try playing in release order even if some of them are hard. I do like getting challenged. I'll keep your suggestions in mind though! I've actually tried Battle Network before a few months ago, but it was the third game so I got lost and confused lol. I was emulating it on my 3ds and sadly the sound was kind of fucked up for some reason and there was some lag sometimes. I never had that happen with any other gba game before.
And I've already been looking through fanart because I can't help myself… There are so many different pairings! I really love this silly art of mini Snake Man… I think my second favorite robot might be Crash Man, he's cute and disabled plus his theme is silly and retarded sounding so I really like him too.
