Johnny is cute!!! My favorite jojo, easily. I like his vulnerability, it feels pretty rare to have a male lead like that who doesn't feel childish or like a doormat. His relationship with Gyro is also excellent, the bromance is powerful and I will never not believe they fucked. I'm so glad it has so much screentime and really is the soul of SBR for me, best jojo part.

This is the time nonnas I've tried reading the manga so many times in the past and could never get into it, now I'm trying the anime and the voice acting is adding so much. Regardless I finally made it far enough to actually enjoy Johnathan x Dio.

Finished Part 1. Jonathan x Dio still proves to be the best ship of the show and I felt the last scene with both of them was quite romantic, with Jonathan cradling Dio. I see some people seem to ship Jonathan with Speedwagon, but honestly I found Speed annoying and I like the toxic "raised as brothers" angle Dio has with him. I feel there is a lot of fandom potential since you've basically got several years unaccounted for with the two of them in this massive Victorian mansion. Wonderful setting to run wild in! Hoping to find good fan content.

Started Battle Tendency so we'll see if I like that as much. Joseph isn't hooking me like Jonathan and Dio did but the second part is longer so maybe he'll have more time to grow on me or I'll find another character to latch onto.

Dio is too evil to ship for me but otherwise I like part 1 the best too, I love that dark period piece romantic mood and Jonathan is the perfect man. Part 2 is okay too.

I think I had patience to read up to midway of part 5 when I tried to read all of them, didn't really care for the part 5 ensemble and just felt that it's not going to change to drastically better or worse or different from there, same ol same ol.

I think I might be watching Battle Tendency wrong because Stroheim is my favorite character and I was HYPED to see him reappear.

I don't know, Ceaser and Joesph have clear homo vibes, but I don't care about each individually enough to ship. Almost done, got through the spoilery bits with Ceaser and I liked the parallels with his grandpa was a good character moment for him. Only 5 episodes left, might binge tomorrow to get to Stardust Crusaders.

I don't mind them, but I personally don't find them as engaging a villain as Dio so I'm curious to hear other opinions!

I think of them Whammu is my favorite and I like his noble admiration of Joesph and Ceaser, Kars abosultly wreacking the guys who were going to run over the dog and his respect for wildlife is pretty good too.

Finished and wow Kars has a makeover! Definitely liked him most by the end overtaking Whammu. His powers were very cool and I liked the shapeshifting strong finish for sure.

Started Stardust Crusaders and just finished the Polnareff episode so I think the main gang is all here? I'll need to give them time to interact with each other and see who I like best.

About halfway through Stardust Crusader right now just watched the magnet episode.

I like the team and I think I prefer Old!Joseph, though at the same time it's become a monster of the week show and I just wanted them to get to Egypt and fight Dio! I hope that the plot gets more focused now.

Trying to avoid spoilers and am super curious why Jotaro/Kakyoin seems to be so popular. I feel like neither of them get a lot of screen time compared to Joseph or Polnareff hoping both get more time to shine in the second half. You know who I'm really keen to check out fan works for after I'm done watching? Avdol and Polnareff, imo there is so much agnst potential with them based around the time between Hol Horse and Judgment. Hoping some one wrote something addressing how messed up it was that the team pretended Acdol was dead and just let Polnareff greive

Avdol/Polnareff feels very underrated imo, but maybe I just haven't looked into much content yet. Whenever there's part 3 ships, it's mostly Jotaro/Kakyoin, and personally I don't care for that ship so tough luck lol

Dang, that's too bad because they do seem to have the most textual-based ship right now. Again, not done yet so no spoilers please, but I haven't really seen Jotaro/Kakyoin interact much yet so I'm assuming there must be some scene near the end which explains all the ship art. Or maybe it's just because they're both students at the same school and it makes for a good no-powers AU. lol.Oh well, worst comes to worst I write the Avdol/Polnareff fic I want to see.

D'arby two-parter was fun liked that a lot and thought Jotaro really shined. He's not the most proactive protagonist so I appreciate him being forced into the spotlight. Only got 15ish episodes left, this part is so much longer than the other two. Big jump, though I guess it's easier to write monster-of-the-week compared to a more typical narrative.

Done with Stardust Crusaders and I though the mansion bit was very good! I respect this series for having the guts to kill characters permanently though I actually thought they were going to fake out Avdol's again. Also get absolutely rekt Iggy

It was nice to see my man Dio again though I'm not sold on his final green-lipped design. Very different from his Victorian roots, same insane bastard energy though so I'm happy there.

Avdol/Polnareff still reigns as king of the SC ships for me, first there's the Judgement fight and then Avdol literally dying saving Polnareff which is just PEAK survivors guilt angst material. I hope to find at least a few good stories of them. Jotaro also did grow on my during the second arch with both D'arby fights and the end with Dio. Probably my least favorite protagonist at the moment but I don't hate him, it's just compared to Joseph and Jonathan I just didn't find him as proactive.

Sadly still don't get the Jotaro/Kakyoin ship so I won't be feasting on that bountiful fandom pile. Like I see the inklings of a ship, and they had the bro-handshake, but Kakyoin barely does anything until the last few episodes and I don't have enough canon interactions to ship the two. Not for me I guess.

Hyped for Part 4 since I heard it's similar to best Persona game P4 and is a murder mystery. Will pop back in when I get a feel for the main cast.
