The people in the club literally just hang around looking like rich badasses and do absolutely nothing. I dropped any attempt at doing crime rp with people because nobody wanted to do drugs. Nobody wanted to harm anyone unless they were elementary school bullying my character. I quit because I can't trust to find someone who actually wants to write a lightning in a bottle, flash of a high life that will only end miserably for everyone involved.

I ruined my twitter For You page. I had it just as I wanted, admittedly meaning I lost many hours scrolling instead of sleeping, but it gave me so much to share of jp/kr fanart and pet videos. I opened some threads someone linked that were discussing fan merch manufacturing, because I'm interested in buying/making some and after that it started giving me english tweets arguing about whether fan merch was polluting the earth or why don't we have fan books in the west. I opened a couple about the fan books because I was curious how much printing your own doujinshi actually costs but nobody gave any estimates.
Fast forward a couple days and now my For You is just a wall of english language text tweets instead of fanart. I scroll and scroll before I find some pet videos and then it gives me something I hadn't seen before: tweets from the western fanbase for the series I'd been looking at fanart of. A bunch of them. Some of them write japanese on their usernames or put it on the image but then the tweet is in english and their profile etc is in english. Feeling a little deceived isn't the issue so much as what I'm trying to make sense of.
They draw "2P" AU and make comics and music videos of it. It's an entirely western fanbase thing, I can't tell how you're meant to know what the personalities of the characters are now. They don't act like their canon selves or like the opposite. They're just some guys with different hair styles and different color schemes and clothing/jobs but twitter keeps handing them to me because SURELY that's what I'm into right?
