Probably a longshot but i've been looking for this one old yaoi that I read way back around 2008 - 2010. I'm pretty sure the manga was made post 2000 but pre 2010, I don't remember the story but it has older seme and younger uke with height difference, seme's hair is black, uke is innocent, and I remember in one of the later chapters there's a threesome scene where the uke is being spitroasted by the seme and seme's brother, the seme only allows his brother to have his dick sucked by uke. Does anyone here per chance know the manga I'm looking for?

MAN oh MAN. I was hella sad because it didn't seem like Loveless manga is available to be read online without paying $$$, but there's a whole google drive with that stuff on here.
https://www.tumblr.com/lovelesswikiIt was my very first BL ever so that's like super nostalgic?? I'm so happy I can read it again after 20 years.
What was your first BL manga, anons?

>>6062Nonna it's on Mangadex, you'll almost never run across manga that you can't read! Cool drive though I like all the side-content they have including the artbooks. Someone should upload this to Wayback for extra archival.

Thanks for sharing!
>What was your first BL manga, anons?Probably Loveless too, even if what actually made me look for more BL was the anime adaptation of Princess Princess, forever rewired my brain even if it wasn't actually BL.
>>6068I hated her so much for no other reason than her being dumb and getting close to Ritsuka
in my defense, I was a dumb child and also hated Soubi for that same last reason thoNow I'm just glad female characters made to be hated for getting in between the couple and the likes are not as common. Or at least I don't encounter them as much in modern manga.

>>6071Damn, google lied to me! Once I added mangadex to the search it worked. I'll make sure to check it out first if I'm looking for something old or niche, thanks!
As for the Wayback stuff, I guess I'll ask the people behind that Tumblr account first? It doesn't *belong* to them of course, but they did put a lot of effort into preserving it. For now, it's on on my external hard drive and whatnot.
>>6073For whatever reason, I've never gotten around to seeing it? I'll read it next then 'cause it's a classic haha. Thanks nonna

>the piracy site cares about the lawThis is what gets me. They’re already actually committing a crime. Lolisho isn’t even a crime in most countries.
No.6199
>>6198>which was right after or during that whole deletion thing. That happened years before the DMCA removals. It was when they had to recode the website because someone accessed the user database. Comments didn't exist for a while and then they just integrated the forum in as comments.
The removal of lolisho is likely because they're begging for advertisers at the moment.

Twitter trending sent me this. They deleted these tweets after getting dogpiled in QRTs. According to twitter Viz has two lead editors, one of them is a middle age woman who's been handling the SuBLime socmed for a decade now and has always been rude to people even in person at cons. Some think she's comparing the sales of BL to Jump titles. Pretty funny given an article about fujoshi buying more frequently came out the day before and all the other publishers have been rushing to snatch up gay titles. Supposedly Jnovel staff are still seething about 7Seas getting novels on so many store shelves.
Anyway, there's some new-ish publisher who has announced licensing 12 BL. No titles just yet but they currently do a mixture of Korean otome isekai and a couple manga. They mentioned danmei too.
>>5659I've had a look and it's very easy to screencap pages by holding shift when you rightclick. However all the titles I hadn't read before and tried to check out are excluded from the pass subscription, so you have to pay $2 a chapter when you don't know if it's any good. So much of their library is unremarkable smut and/or has a stupidly straight forward title attached (eg. "Having Sex With a Kinky Guy"), it's hard to tell what might be worth saving.

>>6200Kinda unrelated but I can't stand that SuBLime makes all of their spines look the same, it's so boring especially juxtaposed with my much prettier Seven Seas and Kuma manga
Not my pic, but just why!? They keep the same front and back covers!!!
No.6206
>>6201The shitty, uniform spines literally stops me from buying anything published by SuBLime, even when it's a series I love and would otherwise collect. Birds of Shangri-La is especially egregious imo

>>6200I saw someone say BL was actually bringing the most sales after Jump stuff. I think they said it was Viz themselves who posted about that recently.

>>6200Saging because offtopic for the thread, but this drama seems to have continued into theories that Viz spent all their money on the Kingdom license, because they just announced like five cookbooks, an omnibus reprint, and one shoujo. They've told people they can't afford reprints of other series at the moment too. It'll be fun to see if Kingdom works out for them, because they're going to need fujos on their side for that and oops, just burnt some fingers there.
I've just seen a second new publisher claiming they have BL licenses incoming, but I think they'll be all manwha.

Real question, how is the BL industry in your respective countries? In France it's pretty decent and we often get recent releases but whenever I check new releases on Taifu Comics' or Hana Editions' twitter accounts nowadays I feel out of touch. They mostly release cutesy or omegaverse one shots and BL series take a long time to have new volumes. It's easier to get physical copies than try to buy digital copies of BL manga here unless I'm missing something. Hana Editions fucked up with the digital release of Fangs, which the Japanese publishing company didn't agree to in the first place so now Taifu bought the rights to publish it instead. I will say, the only major issue is that older releases are out of print besides major ones like Junjou Romantica, Acid Town, Viewfinder, etc. and even then it's only because these ones are ongoing series or ended not long ago. And for some reason many of the books I bought and read were sometimes full of typos. It seems like it's the reverse in the US when it comes to digital copies, but I also saw some anons talking about one publishing company selling digital copies shutting down not too long ago. How about other countries?

I feel sorry for her that she was made to feel so bad about her own original work that she’s publicly flagellating herself like this. she has no idea that groveling and making changes for these people will only make things worse. kinda hard to watch. I’d wish she’d listen to her supporters more than the haters but hate always seems to drown out everything else

Does the average japanese fujo only like sfw wholesome student x student or adult x adult BL? Just three years ago we got a One Room Angel adaptation with real life people.
