Previous thread -> https://fujochan.org/bl/res/51.html

More BL light novels get published these days. Useful search: https://www.novelupdates.com/series-finder

BTW, I didn't know that Ai no Kusabi was re-translated by a fan project.

Can we discuss webnovels in this thread? The most recent bl webnovel I read (didn't finish it yet) was Necromancer's Survival. It was fairly good, better than the other webnovels I read in this genre, not too fond of the MC's personality type or the half-assed harem aspect but his interactions with the ML are cute and the story is decent. Another webnovel I liked was The S Classes That I Raised, it's not BL but one of the characters is borderline brocon for the MC which was nice.

My problem with webnovels is they drag on, they could really benefit from being actual books with editors to cut out bloat. The only webnovels I've read all the way through are MXTX's works and ORV, and even those I had to force my way through at some parts. It's also hard to find new good ones. Recs for an entertaining webnovel (either BL or having shippable men) would be appreciated.

>My problem with webnovels is they drag on
Yep, it doesn't require much effort for the author to add a lot of filler just to be able to charge more per chapter or whatever.

>It's also hard to find new good ones

Same.

>Necromancer's Survival

Oh, this one?

Is there a complete pdf of the novel out there? I find reading on screen bothersome and the file on Z Library is only up to chapter 373, apparently. Thanks for the rec, I love necromancers!

for bait I know regressor instruction manual has a lot of shipping potential, but it doesn’t start till like chapter 500 and it drags on, I couldn’t bring myself to finish it because of that but see how you like it.
for actual bl I would recommend a ballad of sword and wine (or Qiang Jin Jiu) it's enemies to lovers where they actually fucking hate each other and with a lot of sexual tension, the setting is historical psudo china and has some great political intrigue with a compelling plot outside of the romance.
I agree with your point and that’s why I stopped reading webnovels unless they’re straight up bl.

Coolio, glad this thead exists because I thought I'd have to post about this in RT.

Man I wanna get my thoughts out about pic rel but I just can't word things in a manner I like currently. I read it for the first time a few weeks ago and just have not been able to get it out of my mind. It's just really fascinating in how sucky the MC's situation is. It's ABO, and ofc that has the typical "Omegas live in a society™" aspect but Kawachi's situation is just… sad. His life essentially spirals after he gets a really intense heat which results in the ML jumping him. He's just so thoroughly miserable (and outright suicidal) until basically the very end of the story. I'll probably re-read it and try and make a more thought-out post at some point because for better or worse it's just… fascinating. And I initially just thought the cover was cute!
>a heartfelt story of love, family, and personal growth
Sure, alright.
