We have a husbando thread in /ffs/, Sailor Moon OP picture. You could use that, otherwise yeah /ot/ would be best.

Why do you yumes keep insisting in wanting to take over fujo spaces so badly? Just make a yumechan or something

Who cares schizophrenic retard the yume vs fujo discourse is artificial as fuck

I would agree most fujos still have husbandos or at least like one party in the ship more, purists exist of course but there is some light overlap. As long as people aren't viciously attacking ships or yaoi as a whole I don't think it matters much, that being said I think most of /f/ plus the husbando thread serves the purpose sufficiently and having a /yume/ board would veer into off-topic 2.5D dating and other undesirable subjects.

 No.871

There was already a husbando/yume thread on /ot/and it was dead as hell.

I can't even imagine how conversations would go in an imageboard for yumejoshi. Because it seems more "personal" with how self inserting works, compared to being a fujoshi and shipping two established male characters together that others will like for more or less the same reasons. Unless the imageboard also includes straight ships in general as well. Sage because this is kind of off topic.

 No.874

My opinion is that yume stuff has no business existing in fujo spaces. It's still focused on straight ships and yumes can get really obnoxious about their husbandos being involved in m/m ships, especially when it gets way more emotional than just porny smut. They can keep their husbando thread but an entire imageboard would invite the worst of the worst in, we already witnessed on Lolcow how "tolerant" yumes are of fujos shipping their husbandos.

>cgl is full of actual pedophiles and trannies and men who post gore
>it's known as one the shittier boards even on other boards
>Cosplay & Gothic Lolita
You know lolcow literally started on cgl, right? It's just a cosplay board. Stamina rose was created because cgl banned drama discussion and lolcow was the successor to stamina rose. Where did you even get that idea from.

 No.878

>>876
>lolcow started on cgl
And? what is that supposed to prove? You think it's a good thing? Men were always lurking into cgl for cosplay pics of women
>where did you even get that idea
I didn't, because it's not an idea, it's a fact.
Scrotes have always lurked there, and since pickmes allowed them easily to say misogynistic things, they stayed.

Probably because the site doesn't move that much and anons were on lolcow, I didn't even know there was a thread for yume and husbando stuff in here.
>>868
The way you talk about this makes it seem like yumes are colonizing stuff kek, I just don't want to post my husbandos on CC because it's full if trannies and moids, I'm also a fujo so it only seems quite convenient to be able to post both in the same place.

 No.880

>>879
This isn't a sanctuary for women looking to escape moids and troons, it's a fujo board. Go make a y/ncel board for that. It's not our problem you have a weird irrational fear of a tranny seeing your husbando shitposts as if lc doesn't have just as many as cc.

 No.881

>>880
This. Just wait for Lolcow to come back online again or make your own imageboard. After experiencing the Lolcow brand of husbandofags I'm never giving them the benefit of the doubt again.

 No.882

>>879
But this is fujochan. For fujos and fujo stuff. There are plenty of spaces where you can post your husbandofag ramblings, this is just not the place because people here are not going to care about how you imagine yourself fucking "your" husbando. You risk having a bunch of infights (as yumes/husbandofags tend to do) for things most anons here don't give a shit about.

 No.883

>>874
As both a fujo and yume I sadly must agree with this after witnessing the mess on lc, especially with lc being down we don't need that shit here. This place is our comfy fujo haven first and must be protected at all costs. I'd rather keep my yume stuff personal anyways because it makes you extra identifiable.

 No.884

Thank you for fixing the rules page!

 No.885

>seem like yumes are colonizing stuff kek
Given how the previous yume board was the ONLY active board in the entire site for months which devolved into vtuberfaggotry and drama and once it was gone every yume demanded that the site called FUJOchan catered to them again, yeah?
It also doesn't help that yumes DO want to make themselves known for whatever reason all the time, it's physically impossible for them to not sperg about how their husbando loves their lardass and the very posts crying about it not happening is proof of that.
It's already bad enough that fujo spaces in general are infested with tranny self-inserters and closeted projecting yumes, let fujochan stay fujo. Yumes can be even approved by moids anywhere else but fujos can't.

 No.886

I'm glad people said all this, I typed up a post earlier today and discarded it because I didn't want to sound too harsh but this is a site for fujos and fujo accessories, even /ot/ tends to adhere to relevant topics. I've had a husbando for decades and I would not post him on a fujo board because that's simply not the place for it, I also hesitate to post him on most image boards because he matters too much to me to risk wayward comments. He's important so I want to take time to write things worthy of him, rather than accidentally say too much by airing my thoughts all the time. In that way I'm happy to use other platforms to express myself.

I'm also worried that associating your husband with certain groups and places might get you unnecessary flack from others as "that avatarfag from x". I keep my fujo writing and fandoms separate from my husbando accounts, and in recent years husbandofags have casually made death threats about fujos when talking to me. On the other hand when I've shared my husbando around fujo friends they've immediately tried to make gay sexual jokes at him, which felt weird because we don't even do that with other characters so quickly (usually you tease about shipping them or some feature of their body, not suddenly mob cock on face talk from a single image, geez. They know I'm not even into mob like that). I feel I've avoided conflict/awkwardness by not crossing the streams as much as possible. Bring subjects up with people who understand what you want from those subjects, then you don't have to stop and explain "no I'm not raping your husband mentally, the rot isn't contagious".

A 5 minute cool-off period is too long and makes the site dead. Why is it even here? What's the rationale behind 5 minutes? Makes 0 sense. It doesn't prevent spam, since spammers can simply post from a different VPN.

 No.944

It curbed the last few raids and most people aren't posting from a VPN but I agree, lowering it to 2-3 minutes seems reasonable.

Man having to reupload a post multiple times because of a typo/text wrap not working makes the 5 minutes feel even more brutal. Now that we have the captcha I agree that the timer should be lowered to 1-3 minutes at the most.

There's now a politics-adjacent thread up.

BL is a hobby space. If I want to hear about irl politics, I will turn on the TV or go on social media.

I'm fine with politics-adjacent threads that are related to the distribution of BL, because that stuff is of interest to a BL audience.

But once the topic shifts from BL-adjacent, to the same kind of thing I literally go to this board to escape from, I feel it goes against the 'no politics' rule.

Now that the site is picking up steam cuz of 4chan's (maybe temporary?) death, I think it'd be good to think about lowering the timer. It did help curb raids and has made it so they're not as common cuz most people don't use VPNs, however it's gonna make discussion harder in the long run. Maybe the timer can be 2 and a half minutes? 1 minute like in 4chan?

 No.1029

>>943
I also feel the same way. The cool-off period should only be 1 minute.

 No.1034

Echoing the request to lower the timer to 1-2 minutes. I usually check this site twice a day and reply to whatever thread got bumped, but now multiple threads get bumped when i check and its a pain having to wait for the timer to reply to each one. Please consider lowering it.

I don't have dyslexia, so it doesn't take me 5 minutes to write 3 sentences. How do you envision people doing pic dumps with a 5 min wait between each upload? >>1031 is the dumbest shit, because it's so patronising it makes me wanna hurl. Is this site a place for gradeschoolers or an image board for adults?

 No.1036

>>1035
Sorry, I wasn't thinking about image dumps. Usually I write posts that need to be split into multiple entries because they go on for too many paragraphs. The site wasn't generally used for dumping since it was slow and focused on long discussion, our culture was to make the most of every post and avoid confrontational language when debating by considering either viewpoint.

Now can you stop insulting me?

 No.1037

>Usually I write posts that need to be split into multiple entries because they go on for too many paragraphs.
NAYRT and I'm not trying to start a fight (this is my first post on the topic and I don't really care what they do with the timer), but out of curiosity, don't you ever get annoyed with the cooldown for that very reason? Sometimes, I write long posts, and I usually don't realize they need to be broken up into multiple parts until after I've typed the whole thing out, proofread it, hit "submit," and gotten the "post too long" message. Then, I feel rushed to get the second half of my post out there. Actually, I would think that would be an argument in favor of lowering the timer. I do use a VPN to circumvent this issue, but I don't think I've ever spammed or done anything annoying, aside from excessively rambling about a couple of specific topics in their designated threads.
>The site wasn't generally used for dumping since it was slow and focused on long discussion
I do agree with this, though. One thing I really liked about this site when I found it was how much effort went into all the posts. I like how insightful other nonas are, even when I don't have much to contribute. I wish the board were a little faster, but only because I like reading what people have to say.
>>1028
I am really worried about raids if they lower the timer, especially with the new traffic from 4chan.
