>>1479Fuck yeah, I'm almost always in rarepair hell,
One of my favorite ships from Altus is Archie/Todd from Catherine. Without spoiling anything about the game (since you should all play it if you like persona!), it's a boss/ underling ship where one party is a womanizer and the other is mostly indifferent to woman. I love this dynamic and love the idea of one party pining for someone who they know would show no interest.
I was hoping when Fullbody was announced we'd get more development of the Stray Sheep patrons. While there is a lot of elaboration on Katherine and Vincent's backstory and college days, and I like Rin as a character it just wish some of the bar guys got more love.

ReuenthalxSchenkopp. It's just a really fun escenario.
They are really similar, yet completely different. Both womanizers, both men of action, they just go on a completely different way about it. Schenkopp has his own personal issues to deal with, however, his outlook on life is a lot brighter compared to Reuenthal who is just a much more bitter person, wich is the key difference.
They're also in two diffent sides of a war, so in my mind it would play out with one of them being in captivity, wich is really fun to me.
How the dynamic works is kinda hard to explain without spoiling anything, but the jist of it is that Schenkopp would take the whole captivity thing in stride while frustrating the shit out of Reuenthal who can't take any sort of information out of him, and it would build up from there abuse, rape, etc
There is a little bit of fanart, but none of it is really worth posting, and not going to even bother with fanfic since I already have a very specific thing in mind. Maybe I'll write it myself one day, but I'm not really willing to put in the time right now.

>>1482Hell yeah, someone else ships this! :D I like how their problems complement each other, would like to see something where Todd takes Archie out to hit on women, and ends up going home with him instead as bros, only yo realize a pesky protective feeling in his chest, maybe he doesn't want Archie to go home with a girl, after all…

>>1674This post made me jump holy shit. So happy to see another Senyuu on this board. I love these two so bad. I gave up on a season 3 for the anime, but I want another MQ volume to happen, especially for it to cover Senyuu Web's chapter 4.
Their dynamic is simple at first glance as boke and tsukkomi, Ross (boke) often inflicting ""light"" pain on Alba (tsukkomi) and messing around, but it gets so good with seeing their relationship develop over the years. It's hard to discuss them more without giving vague plot spoiler though,
so I'll tag it. I adore how by the late episodes of chapter 1, they care about each other to the point of sacrificing their well-being despite their squabbles. Chapter 2… well, Alba literally almost puts the world at risk to free Ross. His actions speaks for how much he cares about him. The scarf too. Never forget the scarf. And then in chapter 3, their dynamic starts shifting from a weak hero and an overpowered soldier to a very overpowered hero and a retired hero coach. By the end of chapter 4, they have a domestic life kind of feel. It's cute. Also bringing up the scarf again. That damn scarf by his waist all this time…
There's also great moments in + and F5 like their travel stories back in Alba's Hero #45 days and that one body exam chapter that will forever stay in the creases of my mind, but this is already too much in this section.
It's a really flexible ship too considering the popularity of the AUs - specifically the ones based off of hrhr's doodles. My favorite AU is 2P since I'm a sucker for a carefree guy next to a brooding, shady guy. I love all the AUs though. Even the completely fandom original ones.
Even though the fandom's kinda small, it doesn't feel like that after being in it for a while. There's usually a few pieces of fan art made a day from the JP and KR fans. I know only a handful of English-speaking fans that post though. It's a shame there's not many since almost all of its iterations are fully fan-translated in English. Not to mention the creator himself stated he wants to continue the series for a long time.
I'm super passionate about this series and these two. They're sweet and I'd love to hear others' thoughts about them. Sorry for the wall of text. It's been a while since I typed something about them on a somewhat public place

I watched the anime and liked it, would love to see more! These two are super cute
No.1710
>>1703Due to post limit, I'm splitting this into two posts.
First and foremost: Read the web manga! It's what the anime adapted and is the primary focus of the series. For the web manga, there's the initial manga spanning four volumes, then getting short chapters in an extra volume called Senyuu+ (but it's not actually extra since it's canon) and a reboot volume known as Senyuu F5 that's currently ongoing. If you want to read the first two volumes of the web manga in a traditional manga format, Senyuu MQ covers that portion of the story while adding additional details. Due to its closeness to the source it's considered canon. There's also a canon doujinshi called "The Hero of Port City" about how Ross and Alba met if you want to see that. It even got a drama CD! Everything in the main series is almost fully translated with SQ's Part 2 being the exception.
Then there's the side content such as Senyuu SQ, Haruhara Channel, and the other official (but not canon) doujinshi SQ is a solely comedic take on Senyuu with party hijinks increasing alongside Ross and Alba's relationship becoming more extreme. HC is like +, but less refined and not canon. Some popular AU ideas come from here too. It's a shame some chapters in there aren't canon though. There's some that include really cute scenarios between Ross and Alba…. Then there's the other doujinshi. There's one for SQ that's like an after story and a few others with "what-if" scenarios. There's a lot of material to look at since the series is a decade old and most of it is translated. There's a couple other things, but those are the more prominent side content.
Side note: If you want to know more about the AUs, I recommend looking through this giant post. Beware of spoilers, though!

>>1703As for fan content, there's plenty of JP + KR content arranging from goods, fanfiction, doujinshi, videos, and other things. English content is lacking, but there are some goodies. I definitely recommend floofboy's fanfiction for wholesomeness and good writing on AO3 and Suzu's doujinshi for expanding the characters and neat art on Pixiv. Suzu is technically on the JP side, but has some of her works translated with permission. Her Pixiv ID is 25120006 if you're curious.
The majority of the fandom is on Twitter and only a handful post their works on art websites like Pixiv. I started out by following the aforementioned AO3 fic writer on Twitter and that helped finding others on the platform. My favorite fan-artist by far is Shiro (SR_00_SR). They also create and release plenty of physical goods like art cards, doujinshi, stands, keychains, and other miscellaneous stuff. If their art is too cutesy for your taste, there are plenty others that focus on different aspects of Senyuu. Mostly Albatross though lol. Even if the fandom is more active on Twitter, there are still plenty of works to see on Pixiv under the main tag and ship tags (ロスアル for Ross/Alba and アルロス for Alba/Ross).
Hope this helps! I tried putting the majority of my knowledge about the fandom and official content. Like I said, I'm super passionate for this series and am glad it's getting fan-translated by dedicated fans. Despite its age and active status, it's remarkable how the series still continues despite it being a little obscurer and made by mainly one guy working on other projects at the same time. It's also amazing seeing how much its small community enjoys Albatross in different ways. Some prefer focusing on their growth together over time, some focus on the (literal) power dynamic, others focus on how much they unyielding protectiveness over each other, and all of them show their jokey sadist/masochist and boke/tsukkomi dynamic.
And as a bonus, have another ship with significantly less attention than the main boys: Elf/Alf! They get their moments late in the story, but they're so cute. I'm a sucker for best friend dynamics.
Ignoring the Cecily plot point, they really care for and trust each other, but not enough to have total faith in their plans. In a way, they're similar to Albatross where they both would rather sacrifice the world in order to see their partner again. Even if it's mainly Elf that does it, it's sweet. No.1733

>>1748you rarely see it because people think mayoshino is a like pedo ship, but this is basically what mayoi can get away with without being an actual pedo, so it's not. people genuinely make alternative accounts to hide their liking for mayoshino when there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.
anyways, i find this ship to be not obscure? maybe i'm used to following enough mayoshino-focus accounts to satisfy me.

>>1825To explain more about the two, they're a sergeant and an officer in the German army during WWII. Tall officer guy is cowardly and really bad at being an officer since the men don't respect him, short sergeant guy grew up on the streets and doesn't take shit, bad things happen to him a lot.
They hate each other, but can forge occasional truths with varying degrees of success. They end up saving each other's bacon a few times.
