I was a fan of the comics originally way back in the mid 2010's but the yaoi was a bit dry back then (and I was repressing being a fujo too so not a good mix i guess). I'm happy the new show got popular and had good reception because it helped me fall in love with the franchise again! I got to reread the comics with a new lense (and a fujo lense) which makes the whole experience much more fun.

There's many deleted gay joke scenes from the movies which got deleted probably because it would overshadow the het love interest for Scott. As much as I can enjoy Scott and Ramona, ultimately it feels more like a forced het love interest to me because the relationship between Scott and Wallace is just TOO REAL!!!

I wish we had more for Joseph though because visually I do think they make a cute couple. It's such a shame that he's such a background character.

I also think the difference between show/comic Gideon is hilarious. My only gripe with the show is how they toned down Wallace's relationship with Scott (such as the funeral scene, Wallace wouldn't like seeing Envy perform on his grave etc). But the whole Wallace/Todd thing was such a hilarious surprise to me (plus the whole thing was implied scollace anyway).
PS: I wish they had Negascott in the show.
