Yaoi aside, the narrator seems to be in love with him like, in the fucking text. He's jealous of Marla when she fucks him, he's jealous of Angel face, and because Tyler liked Angel face and Tyler is the narrator, the subtext of beating up a man HE subconsciously liked says some shit about the narrator and I'm not sure if it was intended or not.

Like okay, you felt like destroying something beautiful. Interesting.
