Wasn't expecting to find anyone cute in a game like it, but he was adorable and ended up being my favorite character. Very energetic and fun.

I guess it was a matter of time before the furfags showed up
No.379
>>378No actually, furries show no respect for OG characters and just make all characters generic anthrofied hot fox men or take a Pokemon and give ot big tits for no reason. I don't want any furfags here.
I did specifically create this thread so people who like non-human characters could post them outside of the main /wes/ thread and those people wouldn't have to see alternative boys.
I don't know, I've always liked the weird side charactersin games or boys with unusual physical characteristics. I don't know, I've been told my taste is bad repeatedly and the characters I like are ugly, and I know I shouldn't let it get to me, but I guess being constantly shit on for not having coventually attractive tastes is grating. "This alien isnt a bishie?" Never would have guessed." The personality and relationship dynamics are way more important.

Canon design best design, also peepers is cute.

>>380>I hate when people change the characters design to be something more conventionally attractive. Same, I love characters who don't fit into the "pretty" category, I also like alternative looking boys.
I also used to love Wanders Over Yonder, adored the designs. It was a unique show.

>>507Yay, I'm glad other people on here like them!
Been replaying recently because of the DLC and it's easily one of my favorite games of the 2010s.
No.510
>>509Honestly the cartoon didn't do much for me since it was so divorced from the source material. Maybe if the comedy was less modern and more Looney Tunes-esque I'd be more into it. Haven't checked out the new season yet though, maybe I'll like it more. OP is an absolute bop regardless.
Which stage is your favorite anon? I loved the mouse, the swap for the third phase wowed me the first time I got to it. Cagney Carnation has my favorite music even though I suck at fighting him.
No.511
>>510I totally understand why people don't like the show, it does feel very alienated from the game. But I think it's silly and fun, really good voice acting as well.
My favorite boss is The Devil. Such an awesome fight, perfect difficulty for me where it's hard but not too much for my skill level lol. I also love Phantom Express, Cala Maria, Cagney Carnation and Dr. Kahl's Robot. And while I haven't played the DLC yet, I feel the need to mention Saltbaker because good lord that fight looks fucking insane.
Also, Cagney has my favorite theme as well! Every second of that song just makes you want to dance along.

>>992Yeah, binged what was out earlier this week and its pretty good! The Alan epsiode is probably my favorite of the batch but I don't think there is a bad one. Hoping for more Charlie and Pim interactions myself. I am anticipating more story progression for the final like the first season.
How many episodes is this season slated for, do you know?

>>1041Do you ship him with Stewie? I remember there being a community for those two ages ago but Seth McFarlane's humor makes me want to die so I've never gotten into Family Guy.
>>1013Man I wish Regular Show had more shipping content, I personally loved Skips/Benson back in the day but I'll take ANYTHING. Just saying Regular Show the Movie is very homoerotic in regards to Mordecai and Rigby and I agree the middle seasons of the show with Mordecai being a fuckup in regards to CJ and Margaret are way more interesting if you consider Rigby as a jealous and angry pining best friend. Honestly bold of the show to set up Mordecai and Rigby as totally-not-gay besties and then pair both of them off with women. Even Eileen who I like doesn't have any chemistry with Rigby compared to Mordecai, prime example of a series devalued by forced female love interests.
No.1043
>>1042I don't personally ship Brewie since I think Stewies' unrequited love is more interesting. However, I respect Brewie shippers they're great.
I like quagmire/brian or peter/brian more.

>>1042I was not expecting a reply so your post made me smile. I've been heavily into this pairing but finding any Regular Show ship stuff can be hit or miss now so it's nice to find another fan.
>I wish Regular Show had more shipping contentSame; For such a well-known cartoon I would've thought there'd be more. I mean, there's a good amount of old fan art (if you like humanized designs), but not many fanfics sadly. I don't know if it's just 'too old' now or if it doesn't have as many insanely passionate fujos as other fandoms. There is a reboot coming out now so maybe that'll revive it? Though, I think part of the issue is that RS has a lot of male fans who see themselves and their friends in Mordecai & Rigby, etc. So, they tend to see everything as 'just bro stuff' and get uncomfortable when people interpret it differently.
Skips/Benson is a pairing I haven't seen much of, did you have any favorite moments with them? Admittedly I've been kinda hyper-focused on the one ship so I'd like to hear more about others. I see Mordecai/Benson sometimes too.
>prime example of a series devalued by forced female love interests.Regular Show has one of the worst cases of obligatory het LI syndrome. Even non-fujos seemed to hate the love triangle arcs. I didn't expect Mordecai to end up with Rigby, but, it'd make more sense for him to be single than get married to a character that was never in the show IMO. I feel the same way as you about Rigby and Eileen, too. I like her as a character, but I would've preferred if their relationship was just platonic. Mordecai and Rigby have better chemistry than any of the canonical couples in the show, who just feel thrown together. The mid-later seasons have been less exciting for me since they interact less and there's more het romance drama but I'm trying to dredge through them just to watch the movie. I've been so excited to get around to it. Their high-school designs are cute and I can't wait to see what their relationship was like when they were younger.

I'd post more if I had thicker skin but I'm painfully insecure about my tastes and am used to others shitting on people into shipping cartoons. I also don't ID as furry, but at the same time humanized works do bother me since it's too divorced from the source material, so blah.

>>1307>painfully insecure about my tastes and am used to others shitting on people into shipping cartoonsfwiw I think this is a safe space. You might not get any responses about your specific ships but I don't think anybody is going to dunk on you. I have a few /wes/ ships but they aren't at brainrot tier, just art I see around and am like 'hmm yeah that's cute'.
I do think it's funny to see that it's DafPork when all I know about Looney Tunes slash has been overwhelmingly Daffy and Bugs. Are there shipwars or is the fandom chill?
No.1309
>>1307>>1305Sorry, nona, I don't have a lot to contribute to this thread because I don't have any anthropomorphic animal ships, but I wanted to reply to your post.
>Why is this board so empty? It makes me sad that /wes/ is so empty. I've posted in the dedicated threads for my /wes/ ships, but they're also pretty slow, unfortunately. I think it's a combination of there not being very many users on the site, as well as western cartoons not having the same universal fujo appeal as some Japanese series with explicit fujobait. It's significantly harder to sell people on some cartoons' art styles.
>I'd post more if I had thicker skin but I'm painfully insecure about my tastes and am used to others shitting on people into shipping cartoonsDon't feel obligated to post anything you don't want to (this is an imageboard, after all), but most of the nonas on here are nice. I've posted about Homestuck several times (not even in /wes/), and I got no shit for it, and I was very afraid I would. Everyone was very kind about it, so I'm pretty sure your ships also won't get dogpiled.
>humanized works do bother me since it's too divorced from the source materialI get this. I don't like anthro animals, so I don't experience this exact situation, but I have an issue when the fan depictions art completely differ from canon to the point where they might as well be OCs.
>DafPorkI've never seen this ship. Like the other nona, I've only ever seen Bugs and Daffy. Are there other popular ships?
No.1310
>>1308>>1309>re Lonney Tunes shippingI'd love to hear what the other nonnas opinion is as well but from my experience…
It is a very small microfandom and DafBugs is by and far the most popular this is largely due to both already being popular characters, the Looney Tunes show making them sitcom roomates, and the Chuck Jones shorts pitting them against each other. Most of the ships people have are based on which character the other interacts with most, so Road Runner and Will E Coyote are another pretty popular ship.
As for DafPork in particular I like it best and prefer it to DafBugs because of how it ties perfectly into the history of the studio. While they had other stars before Porky, like Bosko and Buddy, Porky was the first "Big" hit they had and the characters that ended up being their mascot of sorts. When you factor in the idea of the characters being actors and the shorts being their works you've got a rising star. Then Daffy comes along and blows Porky out of the water in popularity, they star together for a while but tensions behind the scenes are high over who is the true star, eventually though Bugs comes along and eclipses both and it's not even close. During this time you also see the switch from Clampett's goofy off the walls Daffy to Jone's sarcastic duck. I like to think the in-universe explanation is bitterness over Bugs. Anyway suffice to say I like the idea of Porky and Daffy bonding over the memories of better times and both mutually disliking all these "young" actors. Daffy is again more openly bitter and Porky reels him back in.
Sorry pure autism on my part, but I have a lot of Looney Tune opinions!
No.1311
>>1310>Sorry pure autism on my partNo that's an informative post. I think it's interesting that the meta narrative of actual studio history plays a part in your perception of the characters("actors") and ship, rather than considering them locked to their "continuity". Do you have any strong feelings about Tiny Toons? I know it got a reboot somewhat recently. Kind of joking but not really: what do you think about Loonatics Unleashed? I remember the Daffy and Porky analogs had a history.
Honestly I'm really happy a Looney Tunes fujo is here. /co/ used to have fujos floating around but that era is over.
No.1312
>>1311Haven't checked out either of the reboots but I enjoy Tiny Toons and Animaniacs because they both play into the "characters as actors" angle, and are very self-aware. Loonatics is a bit too out there, but it's really conceptually funny and kind of falls into the so-bad-its-good field. If we're talking spin-offs that aren't "canon" I consider Duck Dodgers to be the best. The late 30s and early 40s shorts era are my favorite though and if you were looking for recommendations I'd check those out to see the best the franchise has to offer.
>/co/ used to have fujos floating around but that era is overThe MCU destroyed /co/ for me, I haven't used 4chan in half a decade but even before that the capeshit /tv/ fags took over the board and just spammed politically charged bait pushing actual cartoon stuff off unless it was softcore milf threads or other non-discussion art dumps. Sad state of affairs.
