Fear and Hunger which literally and figuratively raped me. Still trying to beat it, set it down for now. I'm sure I can beat it if I just git gud.

I had an embarrassing Phone Guy x Purple Guy phase before the lore got ahead of me. Other than that not really, I do enjoy some James/Pyramid Head but that's about it.

Honestly it's really hard to find guys in horror games that i like to ship together, a few fanfics converted me into liking Henry x James though it makes no fucking sense in the canon and it's been my SH otp since even if it's got barely no fanart and fanfiction. Harry x James is pretty alright too.

Haven't played it (not my kind of game) but i did see a stream of it and NINAH is pure kino, the recent fotm indie horror games have been pretty good, Mouthwashing too.
Fujochan used to have a horror thread before too, apparently it got nuked or something because it's was nowhere to be seen before you created this one.

The Evil Within. Gameplay-wise it's rough, but it has interesting worldbuilding and cast, and the potential for so much more. Unfortunately post-TLOU Tango/Bethesda dumped all of the interesting stuff for heartwarming family dogshit in the sequel. The wasted potential and what-ifs will always haunt me. Ship-wise JoSeb and RuSeb are cute, though I am more partial towards RuSeb because Ruvik's an edgy lil shit with unironically funny lines and he's an interesting foil for Sebastian.

The game is set during a solar catastrophe, and humans can't really go out during daytime so they just live a nocturnal lifestyle, however that's not the only issue as "people" are starting to emerge from the ground. They're called visitors, and you can become one too as it's contagious. You'd think you have to be isolated from society but you can't, since there's a strange "man" (or Visitor, as the game refers to those who are infected/emerge from the ground) that visits you every now and then just to see if you're alone. You can't lie to him either since he's able to tell whether there are people in your hourse or not, so to avoid being killed by this being, you have to accept people inside your house, and kill them if you find out they're Visitors.

It's a really good game with at least 6 different endings. Also there's a really beautiful twink. I want to see more fanart of him in the future, I love pathetic men.

Wireface is okay too. I like his smug look.

That's actually a really hard question to answer if we're not counting visual novels. Maybe Amnesia: The Dark Descent, Deadly Premonition, or Ib? I looked up a list of horror games on Wikipedia because I was having such a tough time, and apparently Off is considered a horror game? If that counts, Off is 100% my answer.

I started NINAH! Haven't finished it, but that's my most recent. Nona, I would love to talk about NINAH and coat guy with you and other people on this site, but I finally had a good run and accidentally ruined it for myself by telling the outdoor man that I was alone when I wasn't. I got so angry, and I haven't been able to touch the game since that kek.

I remember jokingly (but also not jokingly at all) shipping two of the characters from Amnesia to piss off a friend kek. If Off counts as a horror game, then I could write significantly more regarding shipping.

Tried NINAH gotten a few endings going to aim for 100%. Don't really get anything shipping-wise out of it (though the setting would be great for some), but the game has a great atmosphere, thank you all for the rec!

I've emulated on pc years ago since i'm a poorfag lol, but i do plan on playing the first game on a real console one day, the prices are just crazy. Most people get into it by playing silent hill 2 first since it's the most popular one but it's up to you to decide which one you wanna play tbh i myself started with the first one before any of the others, theres 4 games from the original team silent:

I had the ps2 since I was little, when it broke I bought it again and simply played it again, I am lucky I had the games because my dad was into videogames too, you can always go the pirate route and download them and mod the ps2 to play them.

Just started back tonight. Going to try not to click through stuff too fast to avoid a repeat of my last incident kek. Please post about it when you finally get a chance to play! I actually like a lot of the characters so far, and I think I've gotten more efficient as far as managing them goes (I started out blind).

Haven't had a chance to buy the remake yet, and I'm in no hurry due to alterations in the OST. I feel kind of uneasy about it, to be perfectly honest. OFF is one of my most favorite games ever, and I'm so afraid of the remake doing something to ruin it, as silly as it sounds.

Makes me sad that there's only fanart of Henry and James hanging out platonically, either that or the shipping art is all just buried online and i still haven't found it, guess i'll have to make my own.
