Speaking of which, could we say we have an actual "culture" here? Because it's been more or less a year since fujochan started iirc but it's so slow, it just feels like going to the same bar occasionally and drinking while chatting with the usual acquaintances.

>>437>>438Echoing all of these sentiments. Also, really, don't always take things too seriously around here. Go as crazy as you want to, bust out the caps lock and scream at the top of your lungs about how PERFECT YOUR OTP IS OH MY LORD. We understand, and we're listening.
>>439>it just feels like going to the same bar occasionally and drinking while chatting with the usual acquaintances. That's kind of the appeal to me, in all honesty. I love how cozy this board is, but that isn't to say I'm averse to the idea of the userbase growing.

what does "nonoko" mean in "options?"
No.661
I'd ask people to leave their underage edgyposting outside, nobody here is interested in how much you hate "dykes and faggots" or how you want to use racial slurs because 4chan told you it makes you look cool. Just be an adult and try to be understanding of other anons' views as well.
>>437>Don't be afraid to give replies to posts who are older than 6 months. You can always reply to posts (and threads) no matter how old they are. Please, this has to be normalized. I've been here almost since the beginning and I'm always up for returning to something I said months ago. Discussion doesn't need to die just because a certain amount of time has passed.

>nonoko
i think i more or less remember the history of it
originally, the behavior of ibs was to send you back to the index after you made a post
if you used 'noko' on the options, itd redirect back to the thread you just posted on instead
i forgot what that word means in japanese
anyway, nowadays the behavior has reversed
now the server will send you back to the thread
as if 'noko' is enabled by default
so now you have to use 'nonoko' if you want no noko, and the server will redirect you to the index instead

>>436I would say that 1.) everything should be vaguely on topic. Even our /ot/ board is fujo centered, just meta.
I think that the main reason for why FC is good is that there is no place for anybody who isn't fujo to post here. The moment genuinely unrelated threads reach a certain number I am sure that we would attract the non-fujo LC crowd or other people and I really don't that.
2.) to avoid being hateful. I like that we can disagree here without shitting on each other. I don't have to walk on eggshells like on socmedia or discords but I can also say that some series someone else likes didn't work for me because reason and neither be hateful myself or getting hate from the fan (both happens on 4chan and other altchans).

>>912I agree! I like how, even when we post about games or literature, it's still usually in relation to our ships or which books have the most fujo material lol.
>The moment genuinely unrelated threads reach a certain number I am sure that we would attract the non-fujo LC crowd or other people and I really don't that. This is something I worry about, and I think allowing non-fujo discussion extensively would also lead to men potentially feeling more inclined to use the site. I feel like, in its current form, FC's subject matter acts like bear spray, but against men instead of bears.
>I like that we can disagree here without shitting on each other.I do, too, and I feel like a lot of the posts here are much longer and more analytical than on other imageboards, which I personally like.

>>913>>912It's like you two want to see this site dead. Meanwhile you'll be happily engaging in all 'offtopic', 'unrelated' discussion in fujo discords, leaving this purity spiral death chamber of a site deserted. Why should anybody give any serious thought to your deranged proposals? You are not coming from a place of good faith.

Was there a banner here that had the KomaHina amputee dj pic where Hinata was on the clothing line? I feel like it was definitely a banner, but I haven’t seen it and now I’m wondering if I hallucinated it. I know there’s another amputee banner, but that’s not the one I’m thinking of.
No.920
>>919been here for two years and i don’t remember ever seeing a banner like that. we do have a banner that’s a brown-haired amputee boy laying on the floor, but iirc that’s our only one like that (or at least the only one I’ve seen or paid attention to).

>>918>Meanwhile you'll be happily engaging in all 'offtopic', 'unrelated' discussion in fujo discordsDon't speak for me, I explicitly ignore off-topic channels in discords if there are any. I am the type of autist that only talks about my hyperfocus and don't want to discuss or read about private matters. I don't get the issue you have with it. All I said (second post you quoted) is that I don't want this place to devolve into a non-media focused off-topic discussion place like LC in which I learn more about everybody's private life and political stance than I wanted.
I just want to talk about media and pairings. Meta shit is fine too as long as it's media related, like analysing gay shipping itself.

>>918I'm the first anon and I wasn't going to reply to this even though I've had a reply typed up because I didn't want to start a fight. Since the other anon responded, I'll just add that I literally don't even use Discord. I like FC because it stays on-topic, and I don't use Discord because it's too personal and people on there try too hard to be 'friends.' I do not go online to befriend strangers. I would like a site dedicated to being a fujo to be devoted to those topics, and I would similarly assume a Discord dedicated to being a fujo would stay on-topic. I think it's stupid if that's not what the servers do, and it reaffirms my decision not to use it. I'm not coming on here to have discussions about hiking or rock climbing, just like I don't go on a hiking trip to talk about anime boys taking it up the ass. Those are two separate activities with two separate groups of people. I'm sorry if you feel differently, but it's weird to immediately accuse someone of wanting to kill a site she uses regularly just because she has a different opinion from you, and it's even weirder to assume someone uses Discord just because you don't like her opinion.

Or perhaps simply don't visit boards that offend you - it can't be that hard. You are not the one in charge and you won't be telling anybody here what should and shouldn't be allowed. You are so spoilt and entitled.
No.924
>>922I've never seen an image board as draconian as what you desire. Even on 4chan off-topic discussion is allowed within threads as long as it's vaguely related to whatever is going on in the thread. In your imagined future the entire board of /ot/ should be annihilated, am I correct?
