I like cinema and watch lots of live action non-fujo adjacent films. I try to watch one a day, today it was 1940's The Great Dictator. Besides that I like to cook specifically baking.

>>7336I have a top 100 chart O made a while back that I'll post when I get home, but my favorite movies are John Carpenter's The Thing (I'd also rec most of his filmography) and The Good the Bad and the Ugly.

I like to sew and I wear lolita fashion. I've always wondered how common it is for lolitas to also be fujo, but I'm pretty crypto everywhere else. I'm afraid I'll be outted as some weirdo and banned from my comm.

>>7360I definitely think there is an overlap, but I mainly blame all those gothic BL-adjacent series like Black Butler or Count Cain. Something about Victorian fashion and yaoi just goes hand in hand.
No.7368
>>7362>>7362>Victorian fashion and yaoi just goes hand in handI always wonder how butler/ojousama became more common than butler/bocchan because butlers (or valets who are actually separate things but shh) traditionally served the man of the house. I guess it must be due to wanting an easy otome equivalent to the otaku maid stuff.
No.7369
>>7368Sameanoning but I was thinking about how there should logically be way more maid/ojousama yuri because the common scenario you get of a butler raising an ojousama wouldn't really happen, if there were no other family members she'd be raised by a maid, right? And you can't have the dressing/undressing thing with mixed genders (but I think I have seen some historical series from other countries where opposite gender servants can dress you)

Not sure if it counts but I like traveling. I try to travel alone as much as I can because I only had terrible experiences traveling with family and friends, it feels like going on an adventure. It can get expensive but I save as much money as I can and try to do long trips now, as long as I'm young and healthy so if anything happens that makes it impossible to travel more later at least I would have reached as many destinations as possible before that, hopefully.

>>7360Not lolita but I identified as satanist as a teen lol and I know a bunch of fujos that were goths.
I believe that fujos are more likely to be drawn to dark content like horror or subcultures. This might be totally off and maybe most fujos are indeed successful and socially well adapted IRL but based on the fujos I was/am friends with IRL and online I get the feeling that a lot of fujos are outcasts. Not like the whiny incels, but many of them seem to be asexual, autistic, have ADHD or suffer from like light depressions.
There are of course more casual fujos that just enjoy some hot dudes, but at least those that get obsessed with pairings and hyperfixate on this I am sure are alienated by real life, people at least most things around them so their obsessive gay dream world is a cope and way of escapism so they are also drawn to other fantastic shit, niche content, subcultures and basically everything the usual normalfag doesn't identify with.

>>7371many fujos being into darker themes and aesthetics makes so much sense because of possible psychological conditions yeah. it used to be this way a lot more, when homosexuality was more of a taboo and liking BL was a dirty little secret.
i think that feeling out of touch with the world leads you to seek out things that are considered strange as a way of reclaiming your own space and views. niche things aren't subjected to the same amount of unwritten social rules that you might not understand or agree with as a girl with a quirked up psyche.
BL helps me work through a lot of emotional and sexual issues, and if i squint there is even some existentialism hidden behind why i like it lol.
i've had people get upset over this kind of approach to BL, and the strongest criticism came from other fujos being like "its not that deep you just like to see hot guys fucking". for me it is literally that deep though, and its not an attempt at making it seem more noble by stripping away the sexual component to it, which is not something im doing either tbh
anyways, i also like jirai kei

I like buying cute shit (mainly plushies, nendos, dolls and Lolita) drawing/painting, reading and hiking.
>>7360There’s a couple of girls in my comm also into it (one of my fujolita friends is also into imageboards which is cool) but considering there’s furries and pretty obvious sissies in my comm it’s kind of a ‘everything goes’ kinda thing.

I'm a cosplayer and a hobbyist artist. I actually got into fujo stuff via cosplay because years and years ago, as teenagers, my friends were doing ship photoshoots (think early 2010's yaoi cringe compilations) and got me into the BL scene.
>>7360I've known a fair amount of lolitas in my life and they tend to be cryptofujos for some reason, I'm presuming because in their circles fujoism is seen as unfashionable and associated with mouthbreathing weebs but that's just me theorizing.

I'm a pretty basic anime and videogame enjoyer. I'm trying to get better at drawing art too but the former two are making it hard for me to actually sit down and improve.

Besides typical nerdy things like video games, watching movies, figure/merch collecting etc. I love perfumes and the art of perfumery in general. It can be an expensive hobby, especially if you start dwelling into niche houses and/or high end brands but sometimes you find that $18 perfume with interesting formulation that can blow a luxury fragrance outta the park. Downside is the community has plenty of pretentious people in it, but that comes with every niche hobby, especially one heavily based on personal tastes/biases.

>>7379>I'm presuming because in their circles fujoism is seen as unfashionable and associated with mouthbreathing weebs but that's just me theorizing.Yeah for some reason some lolitas like to lie and pretend they hate anime and Japanese culture but just like Lolita and nothing else. Obviously 99% of the time this is a lie and one I don’t really get the point of at that. Only type I could see someone getting into via historical reasons over weebshit reasons is classic and it’s by far the least popular of the three main substyles.

I genuinely love sports like rollerskating and snowboarding. I'm not good enough to do tricks but it's very freeing just to cruise around. I've played around with the idea of an extreme sports themed bl about a group of friends trying to film a stunt video and growing more intimate with eachother in between filming. This is my third trying to post this mods pls I swear I'm not a bot

>>7362Absolutely, there's definitely a bl to lolita pipeline when it comes to Black butler, God Child, and Princess Princess. Though I feel like there is more of a connection with them and ouji/boystyle. At meets you can alway tell when someone's coord inspired by Ciel.
