I just woke up and I'm getting ready for work, my coworkers will all leave our office withing 3 hours so the rest of the day I'll be there alone to read yaoi and be as lazy as I want.

Just beat Link's Awakening DX and am now going to continue a fanfic I was working on.

i saw the ballad of songbirds and snakes earlier today, so now i’m up far too late re-reading portions of the book and thinking about the film. it’s not a perfect adaptation by any means, but i really enjoyed it and hope that it sparks more coriolanus/sejanus fanworks. i’m always a sucker for tragic and doomed pairings, and m/m ships are hard to come by in this series anyways.

that aside, though, i hope you made it home safe, nonna! i second what >>4372 said about pepper spray. moids like to insist that it’s useless and wouldn’t stop an actual attack, but it’s a lot better than nothing.

i think it just viscerally upsets them that, even if it’s only in like 0.3% of scenarios, a woman could have the upper hand in a confrontation. sure, pepper spray isn’t always effective. but a taser is better, and a gun effectively evens the playing field. and i even see moids regularly boast about how women who buy guns probably don’t train enough so they could easily disarm them too. you never see them bring up those points about male gun-owners. it’s fucked up. they definitely get off on making women feel weak too,

Your post reminds me that it's black Friday time! Anyone picking up anything good? After I did Christmas shopping for my family I looked at the yearly anime sales Sentai Filmworks had. They actually have yaoi anime on sale but I didn't pick it up because my cart was already too expensive.

Trying to get some winter walking shoes that won't soak through when I walk on grass or rinse mud off. But you know how shoe companies think everyone has feet the length and width of a school ruler? Well they can go fuck themselves because I've got feet like an adelie penguin and none of these fit. Either I get slipping sliding clown shoes or 24/7 pain even when I take the shoes off, and my toes are already mangled from childhood.

Have shoe designers even seen real women's feet or can they not be trusted?

Mass produced shoes are already a huge expense to me, that's why I'm trying to get them discounted. I usually end up using the same pair for a couple years, but I'm tempted next time I find a decent fit to buy a second pair of the exact same as backup. Never have in the past because the initial cost knocks me.
