Tyrant Falls in Love. The image there is pretty good. Uke in the pairing starts off hating homosexuals, but after his long-time best friend rapes him while he's drunk they start a sort-of relationship.

Besides that I wish I knew more actual series. There are fanfics with incel characters that fall into this trope, but I don't know any consistent tags to find it. Internalized homophobia gets used way too much as a tag on AO3, when the character just has one passing line about how boys aren't supposed to love boys and shit like that.

Ebi-hime made a visual novel about a very disturbed dude who ends up taking his mommy figure as a sex slave.

He also had so good chemistry with a side character (seriously is good) that Ebi-hime is now developing multiple fix-it fics where that side character gets to him before he crosses the line.

'Ashes & Illusions' is the original novel. Is set in fantasy setting, one of the spin-offs is a modern AU, the other is the original fantasy setting.

I've seen enough cringy male behavior like that on 4chan and I don't find it comparable to yaoi. Pic related I guess. I don't want to start a shitstorm with this (i know fujochan already had trapshitters and antitraps argue here) simply for voicing my opinion.

I could understand the dynamic of a man pretending to be a woman for the sake of story telling (obviously i don't want trannyshit). But have you seen how moids interpret those dynamics in the first place? We could have a 2D trap character (I still don't like traps) have at least an interesting story going for him but you know very well what moids will do with him. It all reminds me of Astolfo, I heard he wasn't that bad of a character to begin with but after seeing how dirty moids treated him it just made me put off so awfully by this character. I get exactly where you're coming from, characters like Astolfo have been done incredibly dirty by a lot of pornsick men. He is a fun character, but a lot of people just treat him as a futa-like sex symbol. It is indeed a very straight form of "yaoi."

To make it worse a lot of people who draw these characters aren't even fans of the original work. You know how porn artists will draw characters like Morrigan even if they've never played Darkstalkers? That's the vibe I get with a lot of his "fans." It is too bad, I like the Fate series and he's fun in everything I've seen him in, but my immediate associations are that garbage and its tainted him for me too.
