I'm the anon who's reading Dogra Magra in French from the blvn thread. I'm still reading it because I started it, read like 150 pages very soon after borrowing it, didn't touch it for like a month because of work and other hobbies and I need to give it back to the library this saturday so I'm back to reading it now. So far I'm not halfway through the book just yet, but it will happen soon:
>first part is the beginning of the plot, a young man is in a psych ward, a crime happened where a man killed his fiancee and family members but doesn't remember it, and the plot seems to be about finding out what happens exactly>one doctor from the psych ward, who's now dead, worked on understanding and explaining this mystery even from beyond the grave and before the crime even happened, somewhow, something's fishy of course. A coworker of the doctor gives the young man several documents written by the dead doctor. These documents are the next parts of the book, some are longer than others>almost all his documents seem distantly related to the case. They're honestly written like coke rants. I started the book because it's so important in Hashihime of the Old Book Town and one part that's mentioned is the dream of a fetus. I think it was just an excuse for the author to give his own personal point of view on things like the evolution of the human species, psychiatry, dreams, etc.I have like 350 pages to read until saturday.
>>12156I need to check which Natsume Soseki books I can find in libraries. I noticed a lot of Japanese books in libraries and book stores are either classics or almost only books about cats, food, or both at the same time somehow. On the other hand light novels don't seem to be doing well in France.
