When I actually get into the painting process, I feel that taking pictures after each session helps keep track of the evolution. I also sometimes juggle 2 pieces at once, but I wouldn't reccommend unless you have some level of masochism.
For digital drawing I give myself more leeway. I don't mind working on several projects at a time, because the workspace just has a different effect than when you work with tradi media.
>>887Damn nonna, I am the opposite. I optimise and minimise as hell because I just know I will get lost EVEN if I name them specifically, lol. Case & point : all flat colors are on the same layer, then comes the shading layer, then the highlights layer, and so on.
