>>756>So many good boys… Who's your favorite fate boy? Do you play fgo?Used to play, beat all of Lostbelt, but they Touhou Lostword took over my gacha life.
Favorite is hard to say, Completely grailed Hans Christian Anderson and he's my favorite Caster by far, but I think Rider has my favorite set of boys.
Hector is super underrated too.
No.762
>>759Riders do have great boys, you're right! Achilles, Taikoubou, Sakamoto, Mandricardo, Constanine…. very cute.
>Hector is super underrated too.I really enjoyed Hector in Atlantis, very comfy vibes. He should get more love in the story or events imo. I also thought his valentines (while short) is cute.

>>894I thought fate was mostly for moids since it started out as a porn game and definitely focuses more on getting those waifubucks rather than try to appeal to fujos and yumes
No.1173
>>1172I mean I actually like eroge visual novels, BL or otherwise, so the porn game aspect never bothered me. F/SN had men that appealed to me and the actual world-building and magic system was interesting.
Sure the mainline games are aimed at men, but through re-releases dropping the H-game content Type-Moon is obviously aiming for a wider audience. FGO does indeed have blatant female focused fanservice and like most gacha games casts the widest net possible when designing their characters male and female.
If big boobs and ecchi bothers you you'll hate the series, but there is still plenty here for us fujo fans.

Switched Phones and lost my FGO account. RIP
Kinda wanted to get back into it since Oberon looks cool, but I'm not willing to replay it all.

thats actually the only kind of tattoo i can appreciate
bc that kind of tattoo thats just an icon or something is so uninspired
worse if its a phrase, thats cringe as hell
and if its the name of someone, my fucking god, ppl who do that need to be made and example of and executed in the public square so others know not to do this shit
its like ppl are trying to advertise the superficiality of their personalities on their bodies
and normies basically will use tattoos to display their allegiance to some political braindamage and the number of psyops they have fallen for
no wonder nobody likes tattooed ppl
theyre all vapid and crazy
so yea, tattoos are only acceptable if they treat the skin like a canvas for a real work of art
esp those that take the entire back or front of the torso (or both), i find those very beautiful
even better if the pattern branches into the limbs
but idk if id do one on myself tho
there is the problem of it being permanent
its not that i think ill regret it
let me put it like this
its awesome and doubly so in special events like a party and stuff
but for daily life?
i think that might be too flashy
like wearing an evening gown everywhere you go
just too much, you know?
i dont wanna be standing out from the crowd when im just going to the grocery store
No.2218
>afraid of needles
oh yea i forgot about that
im also deathly afraid of those
fun fact: the only reason i didnt get vaxxed wasnt bc i was afraid of microchips or anything
i just really really hate needles
and it ended up working just fine for me too lol i still a massive corona-virgin
meaning i didnt get the vaccine AND didnt catch corona
so yea the apocalypse was p uneventful for me

Can someone tell how hetersexual is Samurai Remnant? I always hated how much canon hetero ships are in these games.
No.2911
>>2907I recently watched the anime for the first time and was surprised I didn't get That spoiled for me in all of these years (nearly 2 decades…) of vaguely being aware of Fate. It is next up in my VN queue after I finish Subahibi.
No.2917
>>2911Woah, congrats on avoiding the spoilers nonna I wasn't able to before I went in that must have been a cool reveal. By anime do you mean the UFOtable one or the older one? I think their should still be new stuff for you regardless of which version you watched though the UFOtable adapation is of course much better and more conplete.
No.2918
>>2917Deen anime and then the first ep of UBW. I've been told Fate Zero opens with a nuke of a spoiler so I've put a pin in all of it until I've read the VN. It's a group watch with 2 long time fans so I'm having a lot of fun getting spoonfed answers/trivia and them not minding demands to pause for goofy screencaps.
Ironically none of what I've seen so far has activated the fujo goggles, but from reading this thread I guess a lot of that is in the phone game? I hope not, I hate phone games. ( ; ω ; )
No.2922
>>2918> I guess a lot of that is in the phone game? I hope not, I hate phone games. ( ; ω ; )I ended up drifting away from the Fate fandom exactly because the gacha game seems to be the main hub of the universe's story and lore now. I can't blame them for that cause clearly it works and it prints money but I just got tired of slogging through the grindy gameplay and all the hideous new characters that don't appeal to me like the micro bikini lolis and titcows.
No.2923
>>2922I actually don't mind FGO because I like a lot of the new characters in it and its not pay to win so I can use my low-level boys the entire time, but when I lost acess to my account I just didn't find it fun enough to get caught back up. Gacha games are such a time sync I wish they would just release a VN with all the cutscenes and interactions stitched together.
I'd at the very least recommend checking out the anime movies based on it since the setting and characters are still good, though my recommendation to the nonna above would be Zero next since it is very good and is essential context for F/SN!
No.3391
>>3389I love the Iliad, but I don't think there's much Hector/Achilles content (although there is undeniably fujo content, and maybe you'll be able to see something I didn't between Hector and Achilles, as I wasn't reading it with that lens lol). I do think it would give you a deeper appreciation for the Fate character, as they really didn't capture how sympathetic he is in the original epic (I like the mythological character a lot). If you're interested in the Iliad, but aren't familiar with the history, there's a book by Olivia Coolidge called The Trojan War, which was my first exposure to the myth. Granted, I read this book as a child, and it's aimed at students, so I don't know how it holds up, but it's very digestible and is a little less dry than the epic. I think it would help you understand a lot in regard to the story, and probably provide some additional context. If you ever get to read the Iliad proper, the translation you choose can affect how enjoyable it is, as well.

No.3563
>>3560I bought it a few months ago but haven't had time to start it yet since I'm in the middle of another long game. New Saber boy is cute, that cluelessness is weird and I can't think of a single other servant with that quirk but knowing the franchise it probably isn't an oversight.
Who's your favorite servant in the game so far? Any fun new additions?
No.3566
>>3563The new Archer is very cute, and there seems to be a lot of ship art of him with his master. I think he's my favorite of the new servants so far, but my mind could still be changed because the cast is really good in this.
However, I'm also very happy to see Gil return in this one, especially in a new class, as he's one of my most favorite characters in the whole franchise.
