Rikiishi so far, although I'll be honest and say that it's been a long, long time since I read this thing, and am only now re-reading it. But they've got the 'fated opponent' down to pat, and I enjoy how they contrast each other, with Joe being hot-headed and Rikiishi being calm.

Anime Joe seems like a kinder dude, which I can't say I like. I understand why they'd want to tone him down, since the manga is as brutal as a manga about men beating the shit out of each other can be.

That said, anime Joe's VA is just perfect for the role. Very cocky in a very Japanese way, perfectly encapsulates parts of manga Joe that don't appear in the anime.

It's been a bit since I've seen it, but I remember enjoying the anime, haven't read the manga.

I wish I hadn't been spoiled on it, good luck avoiding spoilers, I think it'd have hit harder if I hadn't seen so many parodies before hand.
