>>484naoya really grew on me despite being a little shit with absolutely zero redeeming qualities. laughed so hard at the absolute seethe over him both getting a volume cover and making it into top 10 in the popularity contest, but honestly, he deserves it. he's incredibly memorable.
also, toji/naoya is based. runs the gamut from being funny with naoya's crush to bittersweet with how diametrically opposed they are. i'd post the doujin i liked if i could find the damn thing again.

speaking of doujins, someone pointed out to me that this bikku fushisuku doujin got posted recently and i've been very, very appreciative. recently as in like, six months ago and i never noticed.
>https://e-hentai.org/g/2084220/0229e4059c/if someone else here is interested, i might be willing to do a english translation, but it'll be a JP -> CN -> EN retranslation and i make no promises i'll actually deliver.

>>680i'm disappointed that the early theories he might be gojo clan-related seem to be off, but i really like his design (bear buns cute!) and i always enjoy a good fight junkie. homoerotic subtext of wanting to know who's on top and all that, y'know.
really though, i've been waiting for some lore from all the reincarnated sorcerers and we finally got a tiny bit of that from the most recent chapter. the mental image of edo-era ryuu firing his cursed energy cannon from his samurai topknot was kind of hilarious. now, heian flashback when… sukuna tidbits when…
No.682

somehow missed this thread.
>Favourite ship?goyuu. mentor/student ships are my bread & butter but i especially love the latent dubcon vibe; gojo's literally too powerful to deny in anything. i love megumi/sukuna for the same reasons.
>Best boy?gojo.
>Do you prefer the anime or manga more? Both?manga. the anime is kind of, ugly, i guess. i've seen better fight sequences in like, comedy shows.
>Any fanfiction want to shill?hell yeah. right off the top of my head:
>https://archiveofourown.org/works/27683309 edo period au with meg/suk. the writing is excellent and the characterization isn't too shabby either.
>Any headcanons you have?not off the top of my head. i'm actually taking a break from the manga, as the current arc doesn't interest me too much (last chapter i read was scorpian girl leading megumi to her boss).
No.699
>>689>the anime is kind of, ugly, i guess.based take. there's just something about the anime's color scheme that i really dislike, and i wasn't impressed by MAPPA's animation either. i watched jjk0 in theatres and found it mediocre as well; the best fight scene was probably gojo vs. miguel and that wasn't even supposed to be a highlight.
>i'm actually taking a break from the manga.can't blame you, really. i've been enjoying this arc because i love world-building and we've been introduced to some pretty interesting characters (the more i look at him, the more i love kashimo's design!), but it really feels like everything's just set-up for something that still hasn't happened yet. really, everything after shibuya has felt like set-up and i'm getting a little tired of waiting for the other shoe to drop.
i miss yuuji and megumi, man. jjk's ensemble cast is interesting but i miss them.
No.747
Toji's hot, I hope we get a surge of art of him when s2 gets animated. I also like gojo, but idk who I'd really say he ships well with. Geto is the obvious option, but for some reason I feel like something is lacking. I think he's more appealing as a foreveralone pining after someone bc of the mugen/untouchable thing. But that does play into gojogeto or getogojo more after all.
with yuji i like him with todo, as like a very homo no homo idiot pairing. Choso is ok too with him.
honestly for some reason toji x megumi is really appealing and idk where I've got this brainworm from when I don't normally swing for incest
I'm a bit behind on the manga (a little bit post-shibuya) but not too far out. Anime slingshots between well animated (kyoto fights) and then has weird nonsensical choreography that's kind of a mess to look at (Nanami v mahito). it's nice to hear voices though, i think the voice directing is really fun.

No.2565
I think I'll try to watch the anime this weekend. I never thought about starting a shonen manga or anime recently because the last one I tried in recent memory was Attack on Titan and I gave up on it at some point, and was glad I did after seeing how it ended. But I read that JJK's manga is its last arc so it might have a more reasonable plot and length than series like Naruto or Bleach. And tbh I kept seeing spoilers and long twitter threads about Gojo and Geto's relationship and it's been a while since a ship made me interested in a long series like that. Iirc the second season was released just a few months ago which means I should just take my time and not rush it since the next season(s) won't be broadcast anytime soon, right? It's been years since I watched anime, which website would you recommend for streaming that isn't official and doesn't cost money?
No.2568
I finally started the anime. So far it's just ok, but it's only the beginning so I'm looking forward to more development in the next episodes. I heard that the manga is in its final arc but I have no clue if that means it will end soon, like in a year or two or if it's like One Piece and Oda saying the manga is 50% completed for like 15 years straight?
No.2571
Finally watched JJK, watched both seasons in 2-3 days. It took me this long to get into it because honestly it didn't look that interesting. The designs are not that great also and none of the boys picked my interest for some reason. Like they lacked something, but maybe if i had watched it weekly like everyone else i'd have a different opinion. But for now, even after watching it i don't really feel like reading any fanfics about the boys.
I tried sukuna and megumi, but megumi is too much of a lanky boring guy, and sukuna…i just really want to see him bottom i guess? actually if most media with them gave megumi some meat on his bones i'd ship it more.
Itadori……would anyone hate me if i said i think he's a nice match with nail girl? Actually if there's another guy i think he should top is Mahito. Love me some noncon.
Gojo and geto i do have some interest on, but honestly i wish we had more of them together. Also i don't really know what to make up of gojo's character and personality. He likes to show off, i can see him wearing a Big Dick is Back in Town shirt, but he just LACKS something. I guess he's too pretty? not manly enough? character depth? i need to see him breaking down to actually feel something for him. He's kind of a twink too, and Geto gives me mommy vibes so it just doesn't work. But if i do find a fanfic were gojo can fill geto's ass full of cum and babies then it's all good
I like all the villains, i think their little group was really cool and i really missed them when they all died. They're more interesting than some main characters. Guess i'll watch the movie now

No.2573
>>2571We started more or less at the same time. But I haven't started the Shibuya arc yet. I get what you mean about the guys, and I'm surprised Gojo got popular since the beginning because at first he seemed like a useless Kakashi bootleg at firsr, everytime the three main characters were about to die on a mission he was somewhere else and he just kept posing on screen like a dumb slut whenever he was back.
I think the blindfold and bandages look dumb, the glasses look better and remind me a lot of Ban Mido. I wish we saw him and Geto as teens for a bit longer at least. The closest thing to a breakdown he had was when he was about to make everyone exploded after getting dumped in front of a KFC by his now evil ex bf. I think I would have been more invested from the start if I didn't see any spoilers but it's because of some of them that I started the show.
I say thay because when that poor Riko for shot in the head in front of Geto I jumped out of my seat in shock, I legit didn't expect it at all and not that suddenly. No.2574
>>2573>>2571I forgot to add, I won't trust anyone who says Gojo is a twink. One character says he's 1.90m tall. He's skinny but he's still fucking huge.
No.2577
>>2574Just because he's tall doesn't mean he's not a twink. C'mon, at LEAST season 1 Gojo is a twink for sure. I got some spoilers so i know he'll fight later with different outfits, and i'm sure mappa will just draw another skintight shirt on him (god bless). He's secretly buff, but in early seasons he was a walking stick.
Also just read a tojigumi fanfic today, guess i finally have a ship i fuck with. Toji is so hot bros

I think it's happening now. Satsugu is starting to rot my brain. The issue is that it's been a while since I got into a series so popular and when I was into other very popular series I was broke, I know there are fanart and doujinshi, and a shit ton of merchs for JJK so I need to control myself.
No.2694
>>2693I really need to catch up to the manga now that I finished watching the anime. The more I see spoilers the crazier it gets. I had no clue sukufushi was popular, I thought sukuita was more popular but I got into this series recently so maybe that's why.
No.2696
>>2694Oh no sukuita is way more popular than sukufushi yes! Two male leads who are friends, a safe non-sexualized gay relationship so fangirls can draw both wearing sweaters and holding hands like uwu babies. I don't hate it but i don't see to appeal of shipping Yuji with anyone honestly. Gotta be the first male character i see as straight kek. Sukufushi would be way more popular (even as "problematic" ship) if megumi had a little bit more of screentime and sukuna still had those boners over thinking about megumi and his potential. Those were fun.
Funny enough, now they're even more close (if you put it like that. I won't spoil you more sorry lol) but at the same time everyone is just ignoring the scenarios we can have with this!
I guess i fell in love with this ship a lot more after reading Eternity Enshrined which is a Sukufushi Classic. Cried a lot too. The author really knew how to write their love for each other. Seriously, it's so so so so good and kinda bittersweet but not really and reading the last chapter had be bawling
No.2697
>>2696>Two male leads who are friends, a safe non-sexualized gay relationship so fangirls can draw both wearing sweaters and holding hands like uwu babies.I meant sukuita, as in Sukuna/Yuji. No pictures this time but have you guys read the 266th chapter? I think itafushi might as well be semi-canon at this point holy shit. I still can't get over Yuji admitting in tears that he's lonely without Megumi and Megumi finally waking up as soon as he sees Yuji crying. There's also a parallel with satosugu and how Gojo could only confess his feelings, whatever these feelings are, to Geto far too late for whatever reason. I think I'm going to have a heart attack when the next chapter gets released.
No.2995
>>2987I can't see Megumi with anyone who's not Yuji but I get the appeal of Toji/Megumi. It's so fucked up but in a way that makes perfect sense when you how mentally ill and incestuous all the Zenin clan is except maybe for Maki.

The very last chapter will be released very soon, especially for those who read the leaks. What are your expectations? I'm so worried the ending will disappoint me. And there will be an important announcement by Gege as well.

So, now that the manga is over, what's you're opinion on it? I liked it but the end felt rushed. My only real issue is that it felt like everything about Yuki and Tengen felt half-assed. By the way the fujobait was so over the top at times I swear I would not have believed it if it weren't for a friend begging me to give the series a try, so I wonder how the next season will be seen by more normie male fans. I still can't stop laughing at Sukuna being more or less canon gay for Uraume this whole time, what were the odds?
No.3118
>>3117>that spoilerdamn i am not as caught up with the manga as i should be, what happened?
No.3119
>>3118Uraume is originally a man, but was reincarnated inside a woman's body in the present either because Kenjaku decided that or because Uraume asked Kenjaku to make it happen that way. It's explained in the volume 28 extras and it's safe to assume Gege didn't include it in the manga because he was too busy getting surgery or because he wanted to keep things mysterious for whatever reason. Sukuna is defeated by Yuji, we see him in the afterlife in the very last chapter with Uraume in his original body, Sukuna says that since he got killed and was just being a dangerous mass murderer due to resentment against everyone from the Heian era he will try something else in his next life because why not. So he fucks off while holding Uraume's hand and tells Mahito to fuck off. And Uraume is crying but we don't know why exactly. Sukuna also says something about how back then he could have picked two other paths but it's ambiguous we just see Uraume and some random (?) woman's figure wearing a hakama so maybe that's Kenjaku in his(?) original body and represents Sukuna choosing to become a cursed object, but something is telling me it will stay ambiguous for a long time. Anyway everyone is arguing over whether Uraume is a troon or a fakeboi or whatever but almost everyone is agreeing that Sukuna is gay or bi because when you combine that with him not getting married and not having kids in his era, and Gojo and Yorozu not shutting the fuck up about showing him what love is but Sukuna saying he knows love but rejected it (due to resentment and being cursed)… It's safe to assume he liked Uraume a lot. A lot of people are also coping and saying that they're not in love with each other, they're just "family" or "dad and kid" which is so inaccurate I'm worried for these people. Anyway I'm not very coherent here and I feel like the extras we'll get in the next volumes will be even more insane. And there will be a new guidebook as well but I don't know when.
No.3120
>>3117It was definitely one of the series of all time, I guess. Most everything after Shibuya felt like it was setting up for a shoe that never got dropped, and a lot of characters really needed just one or two more scenes to deliver on their character arcs. At some point I stopped reading it seriously and just thought of it as a weekly gag comedy.
Few things I did really like were
Higuruma, Yorozu, and Takaba vs. Kenjaku. Also Kashimo's cute. Didn't like his story role that much but he's cute. No.3121
>>3120>At some point I stopped reading it seriously and just thought of it as a weekly gag comedy.kek I can see why tbh, especially when
Miguel and his bf, then
Todo and the fucked up instrument and THEN
Yuta piloting Gojo's fresh corpse like a mecha happened one after the other, that shit was insane. I've seen that people dislike the culling games arc in general but since I started the manga kinda late I read it in my own pace and really enjoyed it until the one month time skip between when
Sukuna possessed Megumi and when he and Gojo fought, after that it felt rushed, like Gege wanted to draw his favorite ideas asap no matter what. I would have found it a lot more annoying if I had to wait for each chapter every week.
