Anime slingshots between well animated (kyoto fights) and then has weird nonsensical choreography that's kind of a mess to look at (Nanami v mahito). it's nice to hear voices though, i think the voice directing is really fun.

I think I'll try to watch the anime this weekend. I never thought about starting a shonen manga or anime recently because the last one I tried in recent memory was Attack on Titan and I gave up on it at some point, and was glad I did after seeing how it ended. But I read that JJK's manga is its last arc so it might have a more reasonable plot and length than series like Naruto or Bleach. And tbh I kept seeing spoilers and long twitter threads about Gojo and Geto's relationship and it's been a while since a ship made me interested in a long series like that. Finally watched JJK, watched both seasons in 2-3 days. It took me this long to get into it because honestly it didn't look that interesting. The designs are not that great also and none of the boys picked my interest for some reason. Like they lacked something, but maybe if i had watched it weekly like everyone else i'd have a different opinion. But for now, even after watching it i don't really feel like reading any fanfics about the boys.
