I'm obsessed with Ace Attorney again these days thanks to DGS being infinitely better than AA5 and AA6, I'll post art once my work day is over and I'll get on my laptop. Some of it is probably not manly enough for /m/ though, like Klavier/Apollo, would that still be ok?

>>38>>39>>40>Not sure if this is /m/ worthy>Some of it is probably not manly enough for /m/ though>is this /m/ enough? This isn't [REDACTED] so I say post it anyways, as long as it's not femboys and relevant to the thread discussion.

I love Klavier/Apollo so much. I started following an artist on twitter who likes them a few months ago and I can't stop thinking about them. Her @ is osessger, I needed to share this with you, but be careful she sometimes posts genderbend stuff in her poipiku account.

>>48Klapollo is cute af anon I love their playful dynamic. What do you think of kristoph/apollo? It's kind of my guilty pleasure lol but there's not much of it out there,,
No.51
>>50I think I would have cared more about Kristoph/Apollo if we saw them working together for a bit longer. I never tried to really look for fics of them because there aren't that many of them to begin with. I wish there were fics about them before the store of the game happens and they'd have sex in the office but I'm worried I'll find ooc fics where Kristoph is way more abusive than he actually is. Before
he gets closer to going to jail Kristoph is more passive aggressive than actually abusive, so yeah. I'm too used t seeing unecessary, ooc angst in klapollo fics so Kristoph/Apollo could be even worse.
>>49I loved the game in general, I'm still mad that AA5 was so disconnected from AA4.
No.52
Narumitsu is an excellent ship cause in the earlier games there's the angst and suspense angle and in the modern games you can ship them as wholesome gay dads.
No.53
>>52Wholesome gay dads with sexual tension. I wish fics were making them less wholesome because it's making it hard to picture them fucking for some reason. But that might be just me.

Fuck I just remembered that Kumiko Suekane did and published Retsujou after leaving Capcom and not!Edgeworth always tops not!Phoenix. I wonder if she's allowed to draw Ace Attorney characters however she wants now since she quit Capcom long ago or if she could get in legal trouble if she drew "fanarts", since she basically invented the main characters' designs, backstories and personalities, and even Shu Takumi said Phoenix and Edgeworth might as well be her characters and not his, or not just his. I also wonder what she thinks of the series after she stopped working on it.
No.56
>>54I don't know about her main name, but she'd probably be allowed under a pseudonym she didn't advertise as herself unless Capcom is anal about image. A lot of Japanese staff of various media have done that and it's kept an open secret within the fanbase.
No.57
>>56She made that manga under the pen name Ryo Mutobe and all her BL manga published thanks to a publishing company have that pen name, and she also has other pen names for doujinshi, so I think if she ever decides to draw and post art of the AA guys making out she'd do it under her doujinshi pen names. She barely uses twitter and her blog anymore anyway, but last time she posted something related to AA was a very quick doodle of Mia for the first episode of the anime so that was years ago on her professional twitter, and she posted Haikyuu, Tiger & Bunny and Granblue stuff on her personal twitter, nothing related to her professional work. And I honestly don't know about Capcom's policy on that, but I'm going to guess they're strict. When Shu Takumi wanted to add even more fanservice between Edgeworth and Phoenix in AA2 and AA3 the producers said no, so who knows.
Do you have examples of artists using pen names to draw BL or just NSFW art of their characters? I feel like that'd be easier for manga than for video games since video games are made with entire teams.

>>483Fucking trash. Sheryuu all the way. No I'm not seething about the fact that there's virtually no content of these two ;-;
Jokes aside, anon, do enlighten me on the appeal of mikohomu because I don't really see any chemistry here other than… they used to work together? I guess.

I though the way he moved in game was very interesting Ace Attorney has always been great at conveying personality with their animations.

Not my primary AA ship, but its got so much canonical backing that it's easy to find good content for.
No.2395
>>2394Gumshoe/Edgeworth. I like the clumsy underling/boss dynamic they have. Only drawback is trying to find cute stuff when most content with Gumshoe is bara.
I think I might like every ship in this series to be honest, Narumitsu is a classic like you said and is 90% of yaoi content, but I don't think I really have a NOTP. Good ships all around.
No.2396
>>2394>I don't know anybody in the fandom that doesn't like Narumitsu…I’m not a big Narumitsu fan. Not that anyone asked, but (spoiler for bitchy rambling)
I never found it very compelling in the games outside of “unnecessary feelings lmao that sounds so gay,” and so much of the fanfic was always of the “everyone is a found family and gets over their trauma uwu” variety that I never tried getting into it there either. And while the JP stuff is alright, 99% of the western fanart makes one — or both — of them trans. And sure, maybe I’m petty to let the shippers get in the way of the ship. But even if they weren’t so annoying, I still don’t think I’d find the ship all that interesting. That’s just me, though.
In terms of pairings I actually do like, I’m an edgy bitch and will always have a soft spot for Phoenix/Kristoph, and occasionally AA4-era hobo Phoenix/Apollo when I feel like getting into my age gap bullshit. I also like
Kristoph/Klavier, but I’ll ship anything
incest so it’s barely worth mentioning.
No.2399
>>2395They're cute too. One of my friends is a Nokomitsu shipper actually and shared a similar sentiment to you in that it's kinda hard to find content of it especially nice looking ones which isn't surprising I guess, rip. Hats off to you nonna.
>>2396Well, my Narumitsu hater free days are over now kek. I get what you're saying on the fanfic end though, I tried reading some and couldn't really get into it. I guess it feels like they're oversanitizing things too much or that everyone needs to be happy and mentally sane which is pretty boring to me. I can understand why others like it though since the characters go through shit so it's a happy ending wish fulfillment thing for them. Surprisingly I haven't run into trans stuff but that's mostly because I block tags religiously and stick to one Western artist while the rest is looking at pixiv. And Phoenix/Apollo is pretty based. I fucked the spoiler tags twice so I'm not gonna bother again.

>>2635PREACH! Apollo's best boy! I haven't even played AA5, partly because it gave me that impression too when they added some moebait other lawyer to the group. I actually love to see him suffer like what
>>2644 said about Feenie. (great art, by the way!)
I'm really craving something where Kristoph kidnaps Apollo, locks him in a nasty dungeon, chains him to a chair, blindfolds and/or gags him, and sends a hostage video to Klavier. Maybe not even asking for a ransom or giving any clues where he is. Just send a tape to taunt him. No.2652
>>2635>>2649Despite it being her debut game I didn't think Athena was particularly more important to the AA5 narrative than Apollo. Especially cause he had that inner turmoil arc during it and he was relevant during the climax case too. And then in AA6 I thought he was also more important to the narrative than I expected while Athena was irrelevant. Not that I mind, though, cause she just has the same copypaste energetic goofball personality that all young ace attorney girls have.
No.2653
>>2644I need Kristoph mentally torture and mock hobo phoenix while also taking care of him so he could hopelessly depend on him. I didn't played games, just read tv tropes short line about them and got turned. Too bad there's just nonexistant fanart of Kristoph overall. But it was years ago so I'm not sure. If anyone has fanart and fics in this scenario please share.

>>2707Yes good, I love TGAA. When I played through Dual destinies and Spirit of justice I didn't think they were necessarily bad games but I wasn't as into them as the older games. When I played through TGAA I just felt like they hit different.
No.2709
>>2708I think it's a good thing they started focusing on different characters for TGAA (I know the time period necessitates it, but you know what I mean). I'm a strong believer that Phoenix's story should have ended with Trials and Tribulations, and they should have followed their original plan of making Apollo Justice an entirely separate cast disconnected from the original trilogy.
