It's interesting how BJ grows and develops as a result of his job and his daughter, while Makube more or less stays the same, I have yet to see any fic that explores that.
It feels like a lot of fan material mainly plays with Rock being slick and getting what he wants from overworked DILF BJ having to deal with feelings, and that's cool too, but it doesn't lend itself as well to doctor/patient kink. Plus people seem to just ignore the vision impairment and the fact that Makube is now very easy pickings, which misses so many opportunities.
I also prefer them being versatile and nobody ever writes that, so there's that, too.
