Post SFW cute traps, ignore shitposting and anti-trap spergs. If you don't want to see this, simply hide the thread. Positivity in this thread only.

Questions to get the thread started:
Who's your favorite trap?
What do you as a female weeb love about traps?
Have any trap related merch?
Any recommendations of anime/manga/manhwa with cute traps in it?

I'll start!

>Favorite trap

Hard to say because there's not that many but Hideri from Blend S. Sad he didn't get much screentime but I like his backstory. I want to rewatch Blend S because it was a very cute and comfy series.
>Love about traps
I like how I can look at very pretty boys without having to look at a female anime character. I can enjoy all the qualities of a cute anime girl without having to look at an anime girl because anime girls just aren't my thing. Traps have very cute small penises when I'm not in the mood for shota. I also love how they still have at least one masculine feature that sets them apart from anime girls so they're still enjoyable to me.
>Trap related merch
Unfortunately no, but if I ever find some I'll be sure to share it here! I'd like to find at least one figure or own a physical doujinshi someday.
>Recommendations
Himegoto is really funny! I was recommended this anime by a friend and I really enjoyed it! The bulge bouncing was ridiculous but I enjoyed all the wacky scenarios the boys got involved in. I'd like it if there were another season.

As idol trash I come across a lot of traps since most male idol games include at least 1 trap in the cast. My favorite of them by far is Hanabusa Kokoro from I-Chu – a boy who firmly believes he is the cutest, most beautiful person in the world and has the haughty attitude to match. In front of his fans, however, he behaves as a sweet, energetic idol. Given my love for gap moe and arrogant, narcissistic characters he quickly became a favorite. …It also helps that he's voiced by Murase Ayumu. His voice is very cute, and I'm always extra fond of traps who are actually voiced by men.

Sadly, the rhythm game was eventually killed in favor of a raising sim which was pretty much a 1:1 copy of Liber's other franchise, A3…and then the raising sim died because it was a soulless clone of A3 and sucked. I'll just keep listening to the same like 7 songs indefinitely, I guess. Here are two of my favorites!

Thank you for sharing, he is very cute! I love pink haired boys so much! I can't seem to get into idol games, probably because I'm not too into the stories, but I do want to try again with Ensemble Stars since the official english version coming out in less than a week. And those are very lovely songs, I'll give them a listen. I also really love traps who are voiced by men. Really reminds people that traps are supposed to be male lol.

>>302
You don't need to prove anything to the anti-trap schizos that have nothing better to do than to tryhard being the female version of an incel. I'm not into hetero but if you like that doujin don't concern yourself with what other people think.

Also, another trap I'm fond of is one from Idol Showtime (shortened to AiShota, genius I tell ya). All the characters are super cute and I hope this franchise continues to grow because I love shota traps as well.

He looks like he comes from an otome game, so…
That's what I'd like to know. He's pretty. Although…
>>299
He kinda looks like a more fashionable version of an otomege protag. Which only makes me wonder if a trap protag is even possible for the genre.

Semi-unrelated, but I think there's a small handful in Touken Ranbu.

If you're gonna pair a trap with a girl, the only way to do it imo is with a tomboy. I'm into opposite attraction.
Otherwise, it makes better sense to keep it gay.(hetero )

Sorry for the late reply, nonnas, I forgot I posted in here until seeing the /bl/ trap thread reminded me of this one's existence.

I-Chu was more yume than fujo focused, and while there were some boys who had copious shipbait, Kokoro was more for the yumes. It worked too, he won the yearly popularity contest events twice in a row to the point where the devs shunted him off the the hall of fame, thereby excluding him from all further contests. There was at least a little bit of shipbait for him, though. First was with the MC, Aido Seiya. The details are blurry by now since most of this happened at the beginning of the story and the game shut down years ago, but the tl;dr is that Seiya is the one who convinces Kokoro that the bonds between people are important, and he doesn't have to carry his burdens alone. It causes Kokoro to have a massive change of perspective regarding his idol career. Up until then he'd been performing as a solo unit, but he then decides to bring in his two childhood friends (who are also basically his only friends.) Which leads us to…

Kagurazaki Runa. A kuudere with a sharp tongue and aggressive, judgmental attitude. Similarly to Kokoro, he doesn't have many friends, but in his case it's due to a combination of his personality and his social status making it difficult to become close to others, as his father was a politician who raised him strictly. They argue frequently, but in reality, Runa holds Kokoro in very high regard. In conversations with the player character, he has quite a few lines where he talks about having admired Kokoro's self-confidence for a long time. He initially has serious misgivings about the "crossdressing idol" thing and is somewhat reluctant to do it, but he agreed anyways due to his fondness for Kokoro. Eventually, he comes to genuinely enjoy the work, and feels like Kokoro saved him, filling his life with color.

I rambled on way longer than I intended too, oops… Have a bonus pic of the whole trap unit together as thanks for sitting through this massive wall of text.

>trap protag for otoge
If the protag is a trap, by definition wouldn't that be a bl game and not an otome game?

>pink haired boys
>Ensemble Stars
Incidentally, enstars also has a pink haired trap voiced by Murase Ayumu. I don't know that I'd put too much faith in the English version of the game, the quality of the translations on the website is…questionable. Hopefully it works out though. Have you considered giving the anime a try? Unexpectedly for an anime adaptation of a mobile gacha, it's pretty decent. A bunch of detail is lost of course since it speeds through introducing you to all the chars, but as like a quick taste of the story it's not bad.

I started playing Ensemble Stars and my god he is so adorable! I'm not very far into the story and yeah, the translation definitely needs some work, but I'm enjoying it so far. Definitely unique from the other idol games/joseimuke I've played
